Phone Banking Using Interactive Voice Response

Phone banking offers access to your bank account at any time, without disturbing anybody, in perfect privacy, simply by telephone. During office hours, callers may also get connected to an advisor for further business, if they want. The system basically performs the following functions:

Greeting of the customer, perhaps with music background if desired.

Dialog with the customer, using the telephone keys and listening to the voice instructions (Option: using automatic speech recognition instead of the telephone key).

Request the caller to enter the account number (or contract number) and the personal code (Option: using automatic voice verification instead of the code)

Secured data interface with the banking information.

Indication of the account balance and movements by voice, fax or SMS (Option).
