Greeting Service on ISDN Basic Rate Access Lines

Mod. 3808 is the Voice System for control and management of incoming telephone traffic on ISDN base rate access lines.

Designed and constructed to ensure that a caller is always answered even when traffic is particularly heavy or when the terminals are unavailable, the Mod. 3808 manages up to 4 basic accesses and may be installed, as well as on the bi-directional basic accesses, on subscriber terminals with basic accesses having multinumber or direct dial-in configurations.

The System also offers an effective line monitoring service: for each call, both incoming and outgoing, it records the result and, once an error threshold programmed by the user is exceeded, it generates an alarm signal. Optionally the Mod. 3808 can be connected to a PC for use as a Voice Mail and/or statistical data collection/display unit and for configuration purposes. The system is also capable of recognizing whether an incoming call is a data call (e.g. G4 fax), making itself immediately transparent.

Telephone Courtesy Auto Answering Machines

Model 3806/N manages the delays during connections to intercom systems and private exchanges. The service consists in sending callers, after a programmed amount of time, a greeting or information type message without any operator intervention. Callers therefore receive an immediate answer even when telephone traffic is particularly intense. The system is connected between the Public Switched Telephone Network & the private exchange (or intercom) and interfaces incoming and bi-directional two wire phone lines. The basic unit is equipped with 4 lines and may be further expanded, in modular steps of 4 lines, up to a maximum of 12lines.

Model 3806/N handles the following situations:

"DAY" A standard message is sent after a programmed number of rings (2, 4, 8) during delays before an answer.

"The person you wish to speak to is busy at the moment. Your call will be answered as soon as possible. Please hold the line. Thank you."

"NIGHT" A standard message is sent after 2 rings during the night, out-of-office hours or whenever the exchange is unmanned:

"Our office is closed. Please call again during office hours. Thank you."

"CALL FORWARD" (Optional) A musical interlude is sent after the Operator has answered and is forwarding the call to the extension requested (requires private exchange or intercom with external "music on hold" input). The standard messages are factory recorded by AppelCom Ltd. Different Customized "DAY/NIGHT message can be provided on request. An Optional RAM recorder, complete with microphone, allows customers to record their own personal messages. The maximum duration of texts is 2 x 32 seconds.
