These systems address private enterprise’s needs and are designed for implementing value added customer services on existing Private Automated Branch exchanges. Integration with a variety of switches is possible through multiple analog or digital trunk interfaces, which include Primary Rate Integrated Services Digital Network access. In addition to a wide range of traditional Courtesy Services, with auto attendant and music on hold, a series of platforms is available for advanced voice messaging, voice processing, and Interactive Voice Response. Other possible applications include unattended fax services, speech recognition and text-to-speech as well as order entry, tele-monitoring and Tele-metering, which are effectively handled through powerful host interfaces for external data base interactivity. Like all AppelCom Ltd proposed products, the systems are modular, expandable and up-gradable and offer user-friendly graphical interfaces for service creation & maintenance. Exclusive developments, based on infrared bi-directional active badges, include trunk interception devices that allow fully automatic re-routing of incoming PABX calls to the nearest telephone extension. Stand alone multiple line Digital Voice Logging Recorders for public security, sanitary and other emergency services are also available.
